Picked up my 24 hour chip at the meeting tonight. Today is my new sobriety date. Ready to conquer this year. Spent hours with 6 of my favorite AA fellows after the meeting tonight, good way to spend New Year’s Eve. Can’t sleep, fucking pissed off at Samuel. Too many feelings. Wonder if I’ll have another dream within a dream tonight.
Two years ago: Voices. Salt. Olive oil. Prayer beads. Open burns. Cathedrals.
Today: Silence. Phone calls. Smoothies. AA. Lunch with friends. Books.
